Here’s our list of the biggest bonfires and most spectacular fireworks displays around Halifax and Calderdale, with special displays for small children listed first.

This one promises a HUGE bonfire with two firework displays, a fire dance display team, food stalls, hot drinks and cakes, fairground rides, games stalls and music, as well as washroom facilities.
Gates open at 5.30pm and there will be a children’s firework display at 6pm, followed by the lighting of the bonfire at 6.30pm. The main firework display will be at 7.15pm.
As well as a large bonfire, food, drink and kids rides, there are two fireworks displays on November 2; a mini, quieter, autism-friendly display between 7 and 7.30pm suitable for small children, and the main fireworks at 8.15pm. Gates open at 6pm, the bonfire will be lit at 7pm. Proceeds go to The Fire Fighters Charity.

This year’s bonfire and firework extravaganza will be held on Saturday, October 26 with gates opening at 6pm. There will be a licensed bar, food and entertainment.
