Catgill Campsite – Bolton Abbey

You can choose your own pitch on one of the two camping fields at Catgill Farm and enjoy gorgeous views over the Yorkshire Dales.

Arrive at any time up to 9pm and bring your dog if you like.

Cars are only allowed onto the field on arrival and departure to make the campsite safer for kids.

There’s a tiny stream running through the campsite and lots for the children to explore.

Facilities include hot Showers, dedicated disabled and family rooms, shaver and plug sockets, hair dryers, sinks for pot washing, a kettle and microwave, communal fridge and freezers.

There’s also an onside coffee shop open from 7.30-9.30am.

Humble Bee Farm – Scarborough

Lovely family-friendly campsite near the coast with plenty of space for kids to play.

It’s a working farm so there are animals to see (and you can collect an egg from the chickens for breakfast), a children’s play area, nature trails and a sports field and two shower and toilet blocks.

Small camping field for medium-sized tents (no electric). Two touring caravan pitches (electric).

Glamping: Wigwams, wigwam lodges, bell tents, cottages and yurts, lovely and cosy with optional extras you can purchase to make your stay even cosier.

Masons Campsite – Bolton Abbey

Two camping fields with flat pitches, close to a river and offering gorgeous views of the Yorkshire Dales.

Electric hook up offered as standard. Caravans and motorhomes welcome in the main field.

Facilities block with underfloor heating, showers and GHDs, disabled bathroom, washing machine, drying room, communal freezer.

Glamping: Safari tents and yurts with toasty log burners, separate cooking areas, fairy lights and warm blankets.

Windle House Farm – Oxenhope

Back-to-basics camping and glamping on a working farm in an idyllic location. No electric hook up (although there are electric showers).

Barbecues and fire pits allowed.

Shared kitchen with a toaster, kettle, microwave, electric ring cooker, washing up facilities and a plug.

​Glamping: Stone barn Shepherds Rest with private seating area. No electric, lights or heating, but very cosy by candlelight! 

The farm offers an alpaca trek, and there is plenty of space to ride your bike.
