Halifax Food & Drink Festival
Come hungry and take your pic from the fantastic vendors filling up Woolshops, Corn Market and Russell Street. As well as tantalising your tastebuds with treats to eat now and fill up your pantry, you can watch live cookery demonstrations and attend a workshop.
The kids will love it with face painting, balloon modelling, a comedy chef and a henna artist!
There will be grilled food, desserts, wines, bread, ice cream, olives, vegan options and much more.

If you’ve got tickets to one of the big gigs at The Piece Hall this weekend, you’re one of the lucky ones!
For the rest of us, all the shops, bars and restaurants will be open to the public until 1pm.
Halifax Minster Summer Festival
From June 27 to July 7, you can enjoy music, poetry, tours and art at Halifax Minster, near Eureka.
Watch the floats tour through the town and enjoy donkey rides, a fair ground, tombola, dog show and delicious food. The parade will leave Garden Road at around noon and arrive at Wellholme Park at 12.45pm.

Handmade Parade, Hebden Bridge
Experience celebration and spectacle at the 11th annual Hebden Bridge Handmade Parade!
See costumes, carry-able art, giant puppets and much more made by local professional carnival artists, volunteers, guest artists and amazing street bands.
There will be up to 1000 people dancing down the streets of Hebden Bridge and the parade will start at noon on Victoria Street, finishing in Calder Holmes Park at 1pm where there will be a finale, music, and food stalls until 3pm.
The Storytelling Bus
Take a bus ride like no other with the IOU: The Storytelling Bus.
For passengers aged 8+, it’s a 30-minute bus journey around Halifax wearing headphones and listening to stories while enjoying the sights of Halifax. You’ll hear the words of people living in the town brought to life, with personal, every day stories given voice and shared meaning.
This weekend there are rides on both Saturday and Sunday (June 29 and 30). Tickets are £7 (£5 concessions) ,
Online sales close 1 hour before performance time but tickets can still be purchased at the bus stop on Square Road right up until the performance commences. Book via Square Chapel.
A chance to hear some live music on Sunday if you missed out on the Elbow or Embrace gig at The Piece Hall.
Exciting young artists will be playing live at Grayston Unity, in association with Revo Records.
