Our mission here at Northern Arts Factory is to nurture your children’s confidence so that they blossom, learn and shine. From their earliest days, children have a natural urge to dance, sing and perform.

We will empower your child by creating a safe space for all children to experiment whilst having fun, to make mistakes without judgement, to value perseverance and work together, helping each other be the best they can be.

New classes in Coley every Thursday:

  • Junior Dance: 4-5pm (Rec – Year 2)
  • Junior Drama: 5-6pm (Rec – Year 2)
  • Inters Drama: 4-5pm (Year 3-4)
  • Inters Dance: 5-6pm (Year 3-4)
  • Junior Youth Drama: 6-7pm (Year 5-6)

Calderdale Theatre School

Youth theatre for young people in Calderdale. We run theatre skills classes for our members and also put on regular productions at Square Chapel, Halifax and elsewhere. We meet every Saturday in term time and the students get the opportunity to work with professional actors and teachers on all aspects of theatre, including mime, improvisation, directing and voice.

Limelight Theatre School – Drama and Musical Theatre Classes

Limelight Drama gives children aged 5-12 the chance to create characters, help write scripts and perform in our amazing shows at Halifax Victoria Theatre. At Limelight Musical Theatre classes, children will enjoy learning songs from popular movies, West End and Broadway productions and eventually perform them live on stage.

Stage Door Studio Theatre Workshop

Classes for children to learn how to act, dance and sing, aiming to stimulate young people to gain confidence, be creative, develop communication skills and have fun in the world of theatrical arts. Besides staging musicals each year, Stage Door Studio Theatre Workshop takes part in many charitable events.

Theatretrain Halifax

Drama classes, dance classes and singing classes on Saturdays during term time. Our stage school brings out the best in students, builds confidence and gives aspiring young actors opportunities of a lifetime via our large scale London shows and our smaller local shows each year.

Whiteley’s Academy of Performing Arts

A family business with family principles at the heart for students aged 2-19. With all aspects of dance and stage covered, there is so much going on all year round with an annual performance at the Victoria Theatre, pantomimes, summer clubs, performances at Disneyland Paris, London and more.
