We are a Covid-secure group with permission to run face-to-face sessions for new parents.
Moo Born is a 4 week course suitable for babies from 0 to pre-moving.
We blend together our beautiful Moo Music and also tummy time instruction to provide new parents the opportunity to learn about their baby’s development, spend time with people on the same journey as them, as well as provide some much needed light relief and fun.
Our new block starts on the week commencing February 8 and lasts for four weeks.

Held in a relaxed setting, it’s hosted by peer supporters and there are activities provided for older siblings.

Mums who are breastfeeding may, at times, need some extra help and support and that is where the Calderdale Breastfeeding Support Network can help.
The network is made up of women who have breastfed their own children and who work as volunteers alongside other health professionals to offer support to breastfeeding mums.
All Peer Supporters have received training and can offer information during pregnancy and friendly, non-judgemental support after baby’s birth.

Halifax and Huddersfield Nappy Library is an advisory and support network to promote the use of cloth nappies, offering free, impartial advice and a loan service, letting you try before you buy.
30 minute nappy demonstrations, comparing different styles of real nappies. Meet the second Thursday of every month. Weekly coffee mornings are held next door, which you can attend for £1 and bring your drink to the demo.

Meet-ups are the third Saturday of the month at Halifax Fire Station, Skircoat Moor Road, 10am-noon.
The Halifax Sling Library is held every Tuesday at Play Palace, Halifax.
Come and learn about optimal infant positioning, general sling safety and different carrier pros and cons. You can try on or hire slings from newborn to pre-schooler.

Friendly and effective mum-to-mum support for breastfeeding. You don’t have to be having problems to attend the monthly meetings – although they always get priority – bring your triumphs too and help support other mums!
Come if you’re pregnant or preparing for motherhood, a new mum, an experienced mum or a mum’s support person. Older siblings welcome.
£1 per meeting donation appreciated, and a snack to share wherever possible.
