Celebrate the start of Brighouse’s festive season with its annual Christmas food and craft market.
There will be amazing food, over 70 stalls, live music and Christmas fun for all the family, including the town’s lights switch-on with Father Christmas.
Saturday, November 23: 10am-5pm. Christmas lights will be switched on by Father Christmas in his horse-drawn sleigh at around 4pm. Sunday, November 24: 10am-4pm.

There will also be an onsite cafe serving warm drinks and tasty treats.
An accompanying ‘Winter Showcase’ exhibition will run in the cafe and foyet area from November 26-December 21.

Christkindelmarkt is Leeds’ annual traditional German Christmas market, bringing a little piece of Germany into the heart of the city centre. Millennium Square will be transformed into a scenic winter village featuring a variety of authentic wooden chalet stalls, cosy indoor retreats, a traditional carousel and daily programme of light entertainment.
Every Sunday (excluding 10th November) families can enjoy a children’s show in the open air market square, featuring sing-alongs, games, face painting and balloon modelling, with appearances from the Winter Wonderland Princesses and other characters. 11am -1pm.

Free Christmas Tree Festival this year, culminating with a carol service on Sunday, December 8, at 2.45pm when the winning tree will be announced.

This year there will be two Christmas Fair weekends at The Piece Hall, featuring local independent craft stalls, artisan makers and food and drink suppliers, as well as family workshops and entertainment.
You’ll find everything from cheese and sweets to prints and jewellery and an array of warming food and tasty tipples.
Additional checks and guidance will be in place for traders and visitors to maintain COVID-19 safety guidelines.

Christmas extravaganza with over 45 stalls selling gifts, crafts, food and drinks. Entertainment includes Santa arriving on a tractor, live saxophone players, children’s choir, live singers, King Cross Fire Brigade with a fire engine and a fabulous finale.
A fun, festive day for all the family where you can meet the animals at the RSPCA! There will be stalls and games, festive treats, a raffle and the Animal Christmas Stockings will be out for you to put any treats and toys for the animals in.
