This February half-term, there’s fun for all the family at Stockeld Park! The park is open from 15th – 23rd of February with plenty to keep the whole family entertained. Get active in the Yorkshire fresh air and whizz around the real ice-rink, it’s covered so you can skate in any weather!

Venture into the Forest and take on the four, large Adventure Playgrounds that are guaranteed fun for all! Get lost in the maze whilst discovering some playful surprises or join in on the indoor fun and jump on the indoor pillow and play on the inflatable slide!

Add that extra bit of fun to your day by booking onto the Science & Slime workshops! Stockeld Park are welcoming Dragons Den winners, Sublime Science, who will be hosting 35-minute Science & Slime shows that will be full of scientific surprises, smoke, flying things and of course, plenty of slime! Limited tickets are available for the Science & Slime shows and are only £2 per child when pre-booked online! Cannon Hall Farm Lambing Festival

Valentine’s Family Rave – Todmorden

February 16, 2020

Family rave aimed at children aged 0-8 at Golden Lion, Todmorden. Music set to recommended levels for little ears and child-safe club lighting (no strobe lights).

THE PLAYHOUSE PROJECT, organised by ex-ravers and DJs who are now parents, promises top DJs, dancers, club lighting, visuals, bubble machines, inflatables, dancefloor activities and giant balloons.

There will also be chill out activities for those who want a break – themed craft tables, play dough areas, a chill out zone, book corner, face painting and glitter bar and a funky cake stall.

The basement bar will be open selling adults and kids drinks and food will be available in the restaurant throughout the day.

Hesketh Farm Park

Opens again on the 15th February 2020

Hesketh Farm Park is set in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales near Bolton Abbey. There’s loads to do including feeding and stroking the animals, having fun in the giant indoor sandpit or playing hide and seek  in the straw maze. They have a small cafe and room for picnics.

Hope Pastures Pony Day

Pony Pampering : 19th February 2020, 10.30am -12pm 

Meet the ponies and spend time pampering (brushing) them. £5 donation per person/child to pamper a pony and receive a rosette.  The visitor centre will be open for refreshments.

Pony Day: 20th February 2020, 10am -3pm

On a Pony Day children learn how to care for ponies under expert supervision. The emphasis is on fun and on building confidence and skills. The day includes activities such as leading and grooming the ponies, feeding and mucking out, as well as quizzes, games and pony puzzles.

Opera North – Dr Seuss Green Eggs and Ham
