There’s so much happening in Halifax and Calderdale over October half term!

You’ll find most events listed below, and you can find even more information here, including Halloween parties and events, pumpkin picking and carving and autumnal crafting.

There’s loads of spooky fun to be had when Halloween arrives at Stockeld Park this October half term!

It’s a magical playground full of activities to provide you with tonnes of Halloween themed, spooky family entertainment! There will even be prizes for Halloween fancy dress and plenty of opportunity to dance, scream and sing-a-long!

Special Halloween events include:

  • The Monster Mash Show – mini panto!
  • NEW for 2019: Pumpkin Picking! FREE pumpkin for every paying child when tickets are booked before 26th October!
  • Real Witches in the Enchanted Forest!
  • Ghouls in the Maze
  • Halloween Catwalk!

All of these amazing events are included for FREE with your Forest and Maze passes!Later on as dusk sets in, Stockeld Park turns to Stockeld Dark from 6pm – 10pm! 3 events for the slightly older children and parents including:

  • Ice Disco with DJ Bloodbath!
  •  The Haunted Farmhouse!
  •  Zombie Laser tag!

As if that wasn’t already enough excitement, the famous Stockeld Park winter illuminations will be lighting up the Forest and Maze for Halloween too!

Social  

The monsters are coming for a Halloween party! Help get everything ready for them by making fizzing oozy drinks, spider and green snot slime and calling the monsters when it’s time for tea. You can taste Goblin juice, make shrunken heads and have a wonderfully spooky time!

Halloween Mum’s Team Walk

Halloween themed friendly walk and chat around Wellholme Park.

Meet at Wellholme Children’s Centre at 9.15am prompt for a 9.30am departure, then back t othe children’s centre for brew and treats in the play room.

Fancy dress and donations of Halloween treats for afterwards completely optional!

Halloween Rollerskating Party @ Halifax YMCA

Rock Halloween on wheels at Halifax YMCA’s Spooktacular Halloween Party. There are two parties to choose from; Friday, October 25, or Saturday, October 26, 2019. Both 6-8pm. Tickets cost £5 and include pizza or a hotdog, a spooky bun and a drink. Fancy dress optional, prizes for the best costumes.

Hocus Pocus – Eureka!

Grab your cloaks, wands and broomsticks; witches and wizards have flown into Eureka and are holding an official Halloween recruitment drive!

Budding Harry Potters and Mildred Hubbles will be put through their paces, with a series of tasks and tests to complete before pledging allegiance.

Spooky fancy dress encouraged!
