Picking your own is loads of fun, especially when there is other spooky stuff thrown in.
Here’s our pick of what’s happening locally in October 2023, and within about an hour of Halifax and Calderdale.
With more than 250,000 pumpkins to choose from, you’re bound to find the perfect ones! New for 2023 are evening sessions too, with live music and late night photo opportunities.
There’s plenty of other activities available too, including witch’s storytime and a fancy dress competition.

Pick a pumpkin from the 10,000 on offer (all children paying farm admission get a free one!) and even have it carved by an expert. Tickets include the normal attractions too, so enjoy outdoor and indoor adventure play, sheep and ferret racing, tractor trailer rides, milking demos and more.

Brave the giant spooky gates at the start of Strid Wood and follow the trail of over-sized pumpkins to discover mystery doors hidden among the trees. You’ll find clues to help you unravel the magic spell, before a fun surprise at the end!

Tickets are £2pp, under 2s free and they must be booked in advance. Pumpkins range from £1.50 to £8.50, depending on size.
