It’s one of the most enchanting Christmas shows around, delighting countless children with its magic.
This year, The Nutcracker is headed to Square Chapel, with Clara, Fritz and the Mouse Queen bringing the magic of Christmas to Halifax.
Presented by the award-winning Pocket Book Theatre and directed by Julia Black and Adam Fletcher-Forde, Clara and her brother Fritz embark on a great Christmas adventure when she is given a wooden nutcracker in the shape of a handsome prince,
Together with the toys, they battle against the Mouse Queen to save the Land of Make Believe and restore the prince to the throne.
The festive fun continues at Square Chapel with The Jolly Christmas Postman between December 23 and 28. This adaptation of the popular book follows the Jolly Christmas Postman on his final delivery of the year, visiting the homes of Miss Riding Hood, Humpty Dumpty and many others.
